Uno Lamm HVDC Award Dusan Povh received the Uno Lamm High-Voltage Direct Cur-rent Award for “engineering accomplishment through imagina-tion and truth.” He is a registered Professional Engineer with the Province of Manitoba and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Manitoba. He is the recipient of the IEEE Power Engineering Society Uno Lamm Award and a Life Fellow of the IEEE. He is Past-Chairman of the IEEE Subcommittee on HVDC and FACTS, and is active in CIGRE. He received the highest award “Ring of Honor” from the Institution of German Electrical Engineers (VDE 2012), the Outstanding Achievement Award from the European Power Electronics Association (EPE 2015), the Uno Lamm HVDC Award from the IEEE (PES 2015), and the William E. Newell Award from the IEEE (PES 2018).
